Dizzle TV - My Story

I’m Dizzle TV, a creator, musician, and storyteller from the heart of London. My journey started on a council estate, where I grew up in a working-class family that struggled to make ends meet. Life was tough, and we faced the reality of poverty every day. But it was this upbringing—humble, raw, and unfiltered—that shaped my spirit and gave me a deep understanding of the streets and the hardships that come with them.

Growing up, I was no stranger to adversity. At a young age, I was kicked out of my home, forced to navigate life on my own without a safety net. I found myself homeless, with nowhere to turn and no clear path forward. For years, I lived on the edge, battling not just the cold streets but also the feeling of hopelessness that can consume you when you’ve got nothing left. It was during these times that I learned what it truly means to be resilient, to fight even when the odds are against you.

In those dark moments, I made a promise to myself: If I ever got out of this, I’d use my story to inspire others. I refused to be another statistic of the streets. Despite falling into trouble along the way, I pulled myself up and turned my life around. Now, I use my platform to share my journey, to spread a positive message, and to reach those who need it the most. I’m here to show the younger generation that there’s a way out—that street life isn’t the only life, and education, focus, and hard work can change everything.

But my story isn’t just about overcoming homelessness. I’ve also faced battles with my own mental health. Over the years, I’ve been hospitalized multiple times, grappling with the weight of depression and anxiety. Mental health can be a silent struggle, one that people often don’t see, but it’s a battle I’ve fought hard to overcome. I want to be open about this because I know there are many out there who feel like they’re fighting alone. My message is simple: You’re not alone, and these challenges don’t have to define you. You can still achieve your dreams.

With this spirit, I created Urban Prophecy—a brand born from the streets, for the people. It’s more than just clothing; it’s a voice, a statement, a movement. Urban Prophecy is about speaking up for those who are often overlooked, amplifying the voices of the unheard, and building a community that stands together. It’s a brand that believes in the power of change, no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through.

One of the collections I’m most proud of is “Homeless Not Hopeless.” This line is deeply personal to me, inspired by my own experiences living on the streets. It’s a reminder that homelessness isn’t the end of the road—it’s a chapter, not the entire story. Every piece in the “Homeless Not Hopeless” collection is designed with a purpose, to raise awareness about the homelessness crisis affecting millions worldwide. But it’s not just about awareness; it’s about action. 100% of the profits from this line are donated directly to charities and organizations working tirelessly to support the homeless community, providing shelter, food, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

My goal with “Homeless Not Hopeless” is simple but powerful: To change lives, one garment at a time. I want people to wear this line with pride, knowing that they’re not just buying clothing—they’re contributing to a cause, becoming part of a movement that’s making a real difference. Together, we can help lift people out of the darkness, show them there’s hope, and remind them that they are not forgotten.

Through Urban Prophecy, I aim to inspire others, especially those who feel lost, trapped, or overlooked. I want to reach those who battle mental health issues or disabilities, and let them know that their dreams are possible. Life is what you make it. Your circumstances, no matter how dire, don’t have to dictate your future. I’m living proof that with determination, a fighting spirit, and the right mindset, you can transform your life.

Urban Prophecy is just getting started. We will continue to raise our voice, spread our message, and work hard to shine a light on the issues that matter. Whether it’s supporting the homeless or standing up for mental health, we’re here for the long haul. This is only the beginning, and we’re ready to make a real impact, together.
