More Life No Knives: A Movement for Change
Knife crime continues to devastate our communities, and far too many lives have been lost or forever changed by this senseless violence. For me, it’s not just an issue I read about—it’s something that has personally shaped my life. As a survivor of a brutal knife attack that left me with a neurological disorder called FND, I know firsthand the impact that violence can have. While I’m lucky that my face wasn’t deeply scarred due to protecting myself during the attack, the trauma has left lasting emotional and psychological scars. I also live with PTSD, regularly experiencing flashbacks to the night that changed everything.
This experience inspired me to create More Life No Knives, a clothing line under the Urban Prophecy brand. This isn’t just about fashion—it’s a call for change. Every piece in this collection is a symbol of resilience and a demand for a safer future. The message is simple: More Life No Knives stands for rejecting violence, especially knife crime, and advocating for a world where our streets are safe. It’s about honoring life, honoring our communities, and saying no to the senseless violence that robs too many of their futures. By wearing More Life No Knives, you’re not just wearing clothes—you’re wearing a statement, a stand for peace, and a demand for a safer tomorrow.
Through this initiative, I’m raising awareness about knife crime and starting conversations around the impact it has on individuals and families. We need more life, not more knives. We need to build communities where people are empowered to live without the threat of violence. By supporting More Life No Knives, you’re helping spread the message that we can do better. We can choose life.
